@steve
yeah man, it is cool how there is stuff that you may have been using for years and recommended to people you know. Now you can do vids on those products and recommend them to the world!
@lawrence
thanks for the nice thoughts man. I really have no desire to make money from this site or off of the people that visit. This site is my way of venting and sharing, and I like it that way. I am glad you do too! :)

Everyone out there listen up!

Allyn told us in this post about the camera setup he uses, the Kodak Zi6. Even though he could have pointed us to an Amazon.com affiliate link where he would have made a couple of bucks if we bought the camera through it, he chose to send us via a link to the guy over at Bloggerlens.com that may have told him about the camera, so he could fill us in on how good the camera and where there is an affiliate link conveniently located so we can buy there and let him make the couple of bucks off of the sale.

You can see why I keep puffing Allyn up when I comment here. He is a gem of a guy.

Allyn,

Just like always, your information in this video on selling profession products to regular people is good solid, meaty information without the extender that so many mistakenly thrown in to no good purpose.

Many guys in your position would have taken this opportunity to slip it to us and offer to let us buy the two products you mentioned from them at "this special low price, which I can offer you only if you buy before the (you name it)deadline."

You are a champ, my man; a champ and a good guy.

Thanks.

I have started looking around at the stuff I use either everyday or occasionally and it's amazing at the junk in my garage that I could probably do some reviews on. I have checked a few of these products at Amazon and they are readily available. Is there anything that Amazon doesn't have? I really like your idea of approaching products from a professional or specialty item also. I can't tell you how many times in my life I have bragged about using a product not readily available at a local store. It was sort of like I was a member of a VIP Club. LOL!
