Outside of the internet, I am a husband, step dad and very successful corporate drone. As far as you are probably concerned,…

I am a blogger first and foremost. I started blogging in 2007 because I wanted to talk and be heard. I didn’t know anything about traffic or search engines or links or any of it. I just knew I had something to say. I had a niche, but rarely stuck to it. My first reader was my Mom… she thought my shiz was good; thanks Mom!

Eventually, however, I started getting traffic (lots of it) and realized there could be a little more to this whole thing, so I began to search for information. In those days, the big shiz was to be a part of MyBlogLog and I used that to search for “internet marketing” and other such terms. I was fortunate and found Court Tuttle first. In those days, Court didn’t have a teaching school like the Keyword Academy. He just had his blog and did some private coaching. I read every post he put up, especially those that talked about keyword research. Court taught me how to put myself in the shoes of searchers and then how to target their buying habits. If you are a beginner, you can now get all of his best shiz on his blog free and on the cheap.

Also through Court I found Griz and his Make Money For Beginners site which was more specific to link building and search engines without being so specific, if that makes sense. IOW– you gotta read Griz’ stuff several times to really pick up the nuggets… but they are there, and they are freaking golden!

finally, I found Vic and joined his private academy which is still alive and kicking, though closed to further membership. Vic pretty much ironed out the rough spots for me, and filled in all the gaps.. icing on the cake if you will.

Over the last year, however, I have taken the best of what I have learned and then added in my own twists and spins and worked out some “better” ways to get rankings online. When I say “better” I mean, better for me, but not necessarily for you. Anyone who works to get search rankings ends up with their own way of doing things… that’s why the internet is so much fun!

Other than that, i teach here and make friends. I show that marketers can be socially balanced and equally hard core! I also like to call out people every-once-in-a-while, and you could be next!… all in good fun of course.
You really should follow me on Twitter ok?
